Should Church Close on Christmas

There's an interesting post and even more interesting conversation going on at Think Christian about church being closed on Christmas. I posted a comment over there.
What do you think? Should a church close on Christmas?

The Inn was closed... ? :-)
What was that?
You know... no room at the Inn... (I guess technically speaking, it was open...)
No room at the Inn, but the manger was clearly open.

Our pastor has always taken off Christmas Day, regardless of the day of the week -- until now. Foursquare President Jack Hayford, our pastor's pastor, went on the record saying his churches should be open on Sunday, regardless of the date. So, for the first time in 22 years, there will be a regular weekend service at the Coastlands on Christmas Day. We were all invited to come if we didn't already have plans to spend the day with family. In fact, Pastor Daniel will be home that morning with his grandchildren. :-) Honestly, I think what matters most to God is where our hearts and minds are, not our bodies. Whatever you do on Christmas Day, do it with love and a pure heart. Be where you know in your soul that God has called you to be on that day -- whether it's with family, serving at a homeless shelter, or singing Christmas Carols in Church. And let's not argue about it.
Are you suggesting unity? Perish the thought!

No- as the manger was not closed for Jesus, the Church should not be closed for us.
