Insulting Dreams
Have you ever had a dream where someone in the dream insults you? I had one last night where an old friend of mine - one of the ones not speaking to me anymore - made an appearance and made some snippy comment. My reaction in the dream was something like, "well, that was uncalled for."
I woke up in the morning and thought about it, and realized my old friend didn't insult me, my own sub conscious mind did!
Why is my own mind insulting me? Either my brain is filing away my friend for long term memory, or somewhere deep down my self esteem agrees with their comment. Very strange.
