Morning

My life in my mind is happening in the morning. My life in reality is never awake at that hour.

Things yet to implement:

  • Morning Pages or some form of Journaling.
  • 60/120 - sprinting and walking for those intervals, alternating, for as long as I can possibly stand it.
  • Breakfast at the table (again - 'Chelle and I used to do this on weekends when we first moved in together)

CGE!

Have my babies, Phil! So, a healthier, early morning you...sounds almost contradictory. Not that I don't think you can do it but it is very different from the way you live and you need to realize there are going to be set backs as you try to change your behaviors to reflect what you would like. But you're a pro at making your insides match your outsides in other aspects of your life, so you can do it. Breakfast at the table would be a good idea, but I would think all meals at the table would be best, since there have been research studies indicating that people who eat at the table eat less...and you'll have time to reflect on your day and your goals.

-So, just remember that we actually did start the walking/sprinting thing (although not as diligently as either of us would have wanted) and that you got benefit out of it and enjoyed. Plus it's a great thing for your emotional well being.

- Breakfast at the table was great but that was usually because I made you breakfast (not that I didn't want to). I love making you breakfast, but since I'm not there, you'll have to do it on your own. Just make those great little breakfast sandwiches I showed you.

- Journaling...that one can be really tricky since you're not really a morning person. :p That and you are quite verbose so in order to do this, you're definitely going to have to wake up earlier (more so on top of the running and breakfast). If you want to, I can call you when I get up for work at the hospital at 5:45am. ;)
