Here's a typical system I'm used to having. It has to do with suggestions. I am generally open to them. Sometimes it takes a while for me to actually take someone's advice- this example comes from the experience I had today. My father suggested I read a book he was reading I think it was like, at least 3 months ago called "The Sedona Method." So today, as I'm looking for the O.J. book that's coming out soon, I found the "Sedona Method-" but I wanted to be sure I found a good deal- so I went looking for a better price. I looked at both Sam's Club and Walmart- neither had the book. I went back to Borders, picked up the book and one for my daughter. At the register, the lady asked me if I had a Borders Rewards Card- which I replied, "Yes I do." She told me that I had a coupon for 25% off one item- and since the other book I got was already on sale, the book I was getting got the discount. You can look and look, but sometimes, the best thing is right there in front of you. Definitely a metaphor for life.
