I'm an Inspiration

Back in September I mentioned to my friend Corky about taking a kayaking skills class. Today he and I were trying to make a plan to meet up sometime this weekend. He said,
"Tomorrow morning I'm busy taking a surfing lesson. You inspired me." (Or words to that effect...)
Pretty cool! Hooray for me! I just did the kayaking because I love being on the water. Wouldn't it be cool if doing the things we loved doing all the time inspired other people to do their own thing? Neat. Anyway, thanks Cork.

Ever since the days of the band, I can say that you have been an inspiration- from banging the skins to your lust for life. You're creative, funny and freakin' smart. Dudemoholic, you're rad!
Of course, you inspired me to begin a weblog... I think that fit your definition of "neat!"
How to Put Your Face Next to Your Comment

Have my babies, Phil! No, really...have my babies...We'd have cute babies...maybe you shouldn't put those things in the comment box. I go into a tangent.
Anyways, going back to the point, maybe we should consider life as more than being alive, but actually living. This was a philosophical topic we were talking about the other day in didactics. People have a tendency to put things off until the "right time" or until we "have more time" or for just "later." The question is, when is the right time? How would we know? We don't. With that in mind, sure we can't do everything we want to do anytime all the time, but we can take steps towards our dreams (i.e. taking a "lesson" in anything), which are reasonable and which we SHOULD make time for. So, we should ask ourselves, are we living?
