Long Shots
One reason for my enduring love of Da Vinci's Inquest is the long shots. Some scenes, especially later in the series, are done in 1 take, in 1 long shot, sometimes lasting 10 minutes. In these scenes, the camera follows the characters down the street, through a building, all over the place!

Da Vinci's Inquest on DVD
Holy smokes! The first season of Da Vinci's Inquest is finally finally finally going to be released on DVD. Hopefully enough people buy it so the other 6 (or 7?) seasons are released, because it got *really good* in the end.

NBC Blows It

The Dane Cook Jack Black Episode of SNL was hillariously funny, and it included that totally awesome "Lazy Sunday" digital short. The video was all over the Internet the next day. But NBC, in typical big corporation fashion, completely missing the point and spirit of The Internets, had to go screw it up. Ya gotta love lawyers. Why don't these people get it? What are we Internet Weirdos not getting that is obvious to them?

I watched the first episodes of the new season of 24 and I'm hooked. Cool show. Also, the clock is neat. You can see how long the commercials are and time cookies in the oven. All shows should have this.
Seinfeld's Apartment

We never see Jerry Seinfeld's bedroom because he lives in a studio apartment. Like me! It took me this long to figure that out. Actually I'm just now seeing the early episodes thanks to syndication.
Update: Yes, yes, thank you to the many who have commented to point out how wrong I am. In early episodes, he has a studio. The rest of the season, he has a bedroom, where we see him and other characters. Gotcha.
